Stay Lost Lockable 4 Bike Carrier
Hitching your beloved bikes to your car can seem like a risky idea. The thought of them falling off the back when you’re cruising down the highway or on a gravel trail is always in the back of your mind. Or even worse, having them stolen while you shoot into the shops or hit the pub after a long ride. This may cause you to sacrifice your bike-riding plans and travel without them altogether.
Fortunately, Stay Lost has the solution with our new Lockable 4 Bike Carrier. All the amazing features of our original best selling bike carrier with an important upgrade. Our engineers have attached a 1.4 meter, rubber coated, braided steel cable so you can lock your bikes to the bike carrier and have peace of mind that they will still be there when you get back to your car.
Wrap the scratch resistant security cable through your bikes and use the premium grade combination lock to secure the cable to itself through the reinforced loops. When the cable is not in use, simply wrap it around the bike carriers stow away hooks to keep it safely secured when driving.
Our new Lockable 4 Bike Carrier also comes with a standard sized 16mm hitch pin (unlike the 10mm hitch pin in our older model) that is also lockable. The hitch pin has a small 5mm hole in the end so you can attach a padlock and prevent the bike carrier from being taken. (Unfortunately we don’t provide the hitch pin padlock at this stage).
We also can’t forget the features that made our first bike carrier a best seller. Such as the strong, powder coated steel frame that can hold up to a 72kg weight capacity, easily carrying up to 4 adult mountain bikes (or kids bikes). Or the convenient fold-down tilt design that provides you with rapid access to the rear of your vehicle and makes storing your bike carrier when its not in use much easier.
As an added bonus our Stay Lost Lockable Bike Carrier also comes with a free external Anti Rattle Bike Rack Hitch Stabiliser. As well as having the internal anti-wobble system from our older model we decided to take it up a notch and also include an external anti-wobble system to really ensure that you feel comfortable every time you travel with your bikes on our bike carrier.
